About Kalahari Development Initiative

Kalahari Development Initiative or "KDI", is a grassroots community development not-for-profit organization mainly serving the Kalahari Region. KDI was incorporated in 2014 under the laws of the Republic of Namibia. This public supported organization helps communities to initiate and drive their development plans by coupling resources with skills and innovation.

KDI works with poor, marginalized and disadvantaged communities as its primary target group and aims to provide them support in uplifting themselves from poverty through grassroots efforts. A secondary target group involves organized communities looking to improve themselves in a sustainable manner.

KDI was established by a team of national and international experts with decades of experience in emergency relief and development, working with major international organizations, such as: IFRC, WVI, LWF/WS, donor agencies such as: US-AID, CIDA, DIFD, EU and various UN agencies.
KDI is a public supported non-profit organization. We depend on your contributions to counter poverty.
Please support us to help improve the livelihood of many.
